Dynamic Plate Load Test for the Port of Hamburg
10. August 2015
The Lightweight Deflectometer TERRATEST 5000 BLU for the dynamic plate load test will be used for compaction tests on the site of the port of Hamburg as of now. In July Hamburg Port Authority placed an order with TERRATEST for a Light Drop Weight in order to optimise the compaction checks during road and pipe works on the enormous port site.
Being Germany’s largest port and the second-largest container port in Europe, the Port of Hamburg with an area of over 72 km2 is a crucial economic factor for Germany. The Hamburg Port Authority is responsible for ensuring that the harbour is functioning properly and that it can further develop in the future.
The Light Weight Deflectometer TERRATEST 5000 BLU with its convincing price performance ratio will help in carrying out future construction works quickly and professionally. Upon delivery of the Light Weight Deflectometer the team of the HPA received a training course by TERRATEST specialist Falko Weiss.
